Baghdad was founded as the Round City. In 762, al-Mansur drew a circle in the ground and built a capital inside it — planned, then built, then run. That loop is the whole idea. It is where I am from, and it is how I work.

I had a computer at six and I never really got off it. By my early teens I could work Adobe and Autodesk — Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, 3ds Max — because nobody told me I was too young to learn them. From nine to fourteen I played squash for the Iraq national team.

I left school in the tenth grade and took a job at a press in Baghdad at fifteen — graphic designer and large-format printing operator. Business cards, storefront banners, election posters. I learned what design costs when it is wrong: not a revision, but a ruined roll of vinyl and a client standing there. Then two years in Egypt coaching squash at Wadi Degla, across two branches, kids under thirteen.

I came to Ohio in 2016 and drove deliveries. A year later I moved to New York and went back to what I knew — design, then websites, then the systems behind them. I built a distributor’s website and its order system by hand, years before AI could help. I started a jewelry brand from nothing and took it to five figures a month on organic search alone. I opened a wrap shop in Westbury and grew it into seven thousand square feet in Hempstead.

Today EveryWrap I own and run with my brother; Almqam I run in-house. For clients I build the same way I build for myself — the brand, the site, the system, start to finish. Round City is the name for all of it.
